Things To Do In Parker On Labor Day

Grab some grub at the 7th Annual Smokin’ Brew BBQ! On Labor Day weekend, drop by the PACE Center parking lot for all-you-can-eat Kansas City Society BBQ. Watch Pitmasters battle it out and enjoy the fruits, or meats, of their labor. This family friendly event will also feature music, games, and lots of fun!

If you’re in the mood to get your sweat on, the Parker Labor Day Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K is taking place on September 3rd. Registration is still open, and the event will be full of vendors, music, treats, and fun. Ready, set, run!

The Taste of Colorado will take place in Denver on Labor Day weekend. This is a great opportunity to sample some of the best food the city has to offer, at a much discounted price! Send the kids to the infamous Kids’ Zone, enjoy the sights and sounds, and nibble your way around Civic Center Park.

If you find yourself saying nay (or, neigh) to these events, why not check out the 2018 American Eventing Championships in Colorado Horse Park? The whole family can watch equestrian sports and challenges for free! This competitive event takes place all day August 30th through September 2nd. Long faces allowed, of course.

Regardless of how you and your family choose to spend the long weekend, we hope it is relaxing and fun. Happy Labor Day, Parker!
