Our summer evenings are getting shorter, which means that fall is just around the corner. To help you prepare for pumpkins, ghouls, goblins, apples, and harvest moons, here’s a fun list of upcoming events and festivals in Parker, Colorado.
Fun Things to Do in Parker This Fall
- The Parker Oktoberfest is Friday, September 15. This twelfth annual fall festival will feature local, special-brewed Paulaner beer, German food, games, contests, live music, mustache contests (yes, really!), dachshund races (really!) and much more. Admission is free.
- Wine Walk Dates. This special event is hosted by the shopkeepers along Main Street, providing 10 1-oz glasses of wine to participants as they stroll through the shops and peruse local art displays, wine glasses, and much more. Wine walks this fall will be on September 29 and October 27 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Salut!
- Trick or Treat on Main Street takes place from 4:00-8:00 p.m. every Halloween. Main Street closes to local traffic in order to host creepy crawly little monsters out to collect candy. Don a costume and enjoy the tricks and treats for all ages.
- Want to burn off some holiday calories in advance? Sign up for the Turkey Day 5k Fun Run/Walk. Participants will receive a giveaway and the chance to win prizes; those who register before November 15 will receive a commemorative item.
In addition to enjoying some of Parker’s fall activities, Pradera residents can enjoy the beautiful Colorado fall season on their own private golf course offering a variety of year-round recreation. Enjoy a stroll to photograph the lovely foliage; community members also have local access to hiking and walking trails that wind through the neighborhood. If you haven’t already, don’t forget to check out the recent upgrades at the club at Pradera.
