More than half of Pradera’s 1,500 acres remain wide-
open space, just as Mother Nature intended it. From the beginning, the community
has been as much about
what is preserved as what
is developed. Pradera was consciously planned to preserve the natural beauty
of its native landscape, minimizing the irrigation required to sustain it. The
golf course was designed
and constructed with state-
of-the-art agronomy and irrigation systems, using
less than half the turf, and water consumption, of traditional golf courses.
